Some areas of bracken will be sprayed in your area with a herbicide called ASULOX

Why is this work being undertaken?

The aim of the work is to protect and restore areas of upland heather moorland, to improve the area for agricultural use, and conservational value.

What is ASULOX?

ASULOX is a herbicide that controls bracken without effecting other plants, such as heather. The herbicide has been used for over 30 years and the constituents are broken down rapidly into harmless substances even in water.
