YAC logoThe Young Archaeologists' Club (YAC) began its long and happy life way back in 1972 and is now looked after by the Council for British Archaeology (CBA).


The Club now has over 60 local branches across the United Kingdom and over 3,000 members.

Making a model hillfortDenbighshire Branch:


The Denbighshire branch tries to give youngsters an opportunity to have a go at archaeological techniques like planning, finds processing, surveying among others, as well as visiting archaeological sites.

Meetings are held generally on the third Sunday of the month at different locations around the north east Wales area.
